Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is!
Expanding the video game medium with talented fans on an unlimited budget sounds amazing, right? The first 8 episodes were great, each one spanning a universe they chose to explore. I’ve seen critics say they didn’t take any chances with the show. Have you seen the Pac-Man series?

Because I did, and I think they took a hell of a chance there. The show is stunning, every graphic style looks well-chosen and mastered (as you would expect from a love death and robot team), which is a good thing. A sign of the future, hopefully, that video game media will expand even further. It’s filled with easter eggs without the annoyance of the show steering me in the direction of the details that scream.
And in the world we live in, that’s already incredible
This is the first time that people who actually love the game have taken the opportunity to expand the media and please us, the fans. But the beauty of it is that even people who have never played the games can enjoy, understand, and empathize with the characters, and that seems like a big challenge that they have overcome to me. The show has too many glaring flaws, the episodes were not as great as the others (I’m looking at you New World). Yes, some episodes were short, yes, some of the jokes were a little lackluster, I never said it was perfect, it was just amazing..
