Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations for film and TV. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2.
The episode takes place after the events of the game. If you’ve seen Love Death and Robots, you know what you want.
Each episode is short, but packed with action, they don’t have to be long stories. Don’t listen to IGN, they got the penguin wrong and the secret level wrong.
While each episode is short, they feel like a quest within a game, evoking nostalgia, as if you’re reliving your childhood glory days while playing the game, either late at night or with a group of friends. Accept the series as it is, and we’ll definitely see more with some potential additions and perhaps limited fan-favorite episodes.

During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, an American sportscasting crew had to adapt to live coverage of Israeli athletes being held hostage by a terrorist group. Saturday Night was a film about the making of the first Saturday Night Live.
While Saturday Night leaned into the humor of SNL’s creation, September 5 is, understandably, devoid of any comedy. Instead, it’s a sobering, true-to-life story about an ABC sports news team covering the Olympics, where an initially celebratory atmosphere turns to horror when gunmen attack the athletes’ village and begin shooting Israelis.
Americans, not already known for their enthusiasm for history, might find a story in which the “good guys” are the only ones losing to be a tough sell. A film like this might have resonated a decade or two ago, but today, portraying faceless Palestinian killers and Israelis as strictly victimized won’t resonate as it once did.
But modern audiences are increasingly aware that Palestinians have voices and grievances, too. Reducing them to one-dimensional villains ignores the broader context of the ongoing nightmare in the Occupied Territories.
It’s like portraying the story of Custer’s assassination at Little Bighorn without delving into why the Lakota and Cheyenne were angry. Sure, you could depict the Native Americans as murderers, but doing so would miss the larger reality of broken treaties, stolen lands, and genocide.

Based on the Chilean documentary El Agente Topo. A remake of Agente Mole (2020). I think a lot of literary works naturally aim to make the viewer think, “It was an honor to share the lives of these fictional characters.” This show certainly accomplishes that goal well. Even those coming for a less mystery-focused show should be captivated by the humanity shown not only in the writing but also in the performances of all the cast members. Congratulations to all involved. Although Netflix has been tough on renewing shows lately, I hope they live up to the potential of this show by giving it a season 2, because I can’t wait to see more of these incredible characters’ journeys.

‘Here’ is the fifth film directed by Robert Zemeckis starring Tom Hanks, and while it’s not a 2.5-hour epic spanning 3 decades like ‘Forrest Gump’, it somehow manages to span 65 million years. This is achieved through the trick of the film’s camera staying in one place, focusing on the living room of a house built in the early 19th century (probably in New Jersey, USA), which includes a few flashbacks to what was there on that piece of land before the house was built, including a Native American tribe. It’s not all linear, but it’s not too confusing, with the main story following Al (Bettany) and Rose (Reilly) buying the house after World War II.
There they raise their 4 children, with Richard (Hanks) played by an older/’Big’-era Hanks from ~16 years old. Then he meets an older Margaret (Wright), and we follow them as they age in the house over the decades. Even though it’s a relatively short film, it probably didn’t need at least 2 of these stories!
It tries to depict the little moments of life that add up to create the human experience. It’s getting close, but because of all the jumping around, you don’t get too attached to anyone, so the suspense is lost. In various episodes, the fans on the floor turn in the wrong direction with respect to the orientation of the blades. Rotating this way does not push or pull air.. It is an interesting take on the underground bunker story, with legends, myths, beliefs, rituals, and customs based on ancient events, and a fascinating look at the people who survived underground long enough for a civilization to emerge.
When that status quo that protects the order is questioned, enforcement and punishment follow. A power structure is formed, both figuratively and literally, creating a stratified population from top to bottom in silos. While it’s premise is and not entirely original (think Snowpiercer, Dark City, etc.), there’s enough novelty here and it seems well executed for a TV series.
Good acting from Oyelowo, n there are familiar faces in Rashida. (But as you can tell from the show poster, they’re guest stars who let the regular cast in, with Rebecca Ferguson in the lead. ) The show looks pretty decent with good production values.
Although a skeptical mind will pick out a few obvious conspiracies from time to time, the mysteries that await me continue to be revealed.

I’m still on episode 4, but so far it’s been good, actually pretty amazing, it’s been everything I hoped it would be.
;I used to disagree with the adaptation of the novel, and now his children have agreed to adapt it, so the result in my opinion is that Netflix managed to adapt it quite well, maybe not everything perfectly, but they came very close, I think they did a remarkable job of recreating the spirit of the novel + the cast is very good, and the locations and the whole production were actually satisfactory.
Overall, I recommend that people give it a try and don’t let the reviews put you off, and don’t let the Netflix name sway you.
