In season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas

Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time
His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably similar. Visible in the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in the second season, the scar migrated to his right side, leaving his left side without a mark.

Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I could see. Main theme, written by Rolfe Kent, played by Rolfe Kent. Dexter, a forensics expert by day, a serial killer with a touch of vigilantism by night.
Rita, mother of two children and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend
Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of, shall we say, a troubled sociopath. One of the parts of the series that I like the most are the emotions that normal people show, forcing Dexter to imitate them. Good to laugh when the emotions that Dexter fakes become real and he is scared out of his mind, as in the relationship with his “girlfriend”.
Exciting story, lots of details and one of the best opening sequences of all time
I also liked the acting of Jennifer Carpenter as Dexter’s sister Debra, who gives the series a nice touch of color without drifting into cliches.
